Good evening inmates!

How goes the week for all of you? Really good I hope! It’s been really nice reading your comments recently, I really do always appreciate it. Alas it’s been a tad on the “meh” side here I’m afraid. Those dark clouds in my head still seem to be lingering, which is getting rather annoying by this point. I do feel like I need to change something substantial to improve the situation, but I’m a bit lost on that. Maybe a change in medication? A new diet? Fresh air? Or following the doctors advice to try out CBT? I’m kind of terrified of that concept though, it has to be said. Just to add insult to injury as well, I’m feeling a little under the weather now too. Nothing major, just a cold. But it’s not exactly helping my tenuous mood. Not to mention, it’s beginning to get COLD! Oh I hate the cold!

You know what I don’t hate though? Music! Oh yes indeed! That most effective of salves. Did anybody see my clue for todays musical theme? It was a rather iconic one. Anybody who saw it would absolutely guess the theme, I’m confident of that.

Ok, enough babbling. Here’s the reveal! Todays writing music theme is Disney! The clue was obviously the very distinctive castle from Disneyland (and I think Cinderella?). Now, like practically everyone I know of, I grew up with Disney movies. I’m not quite sure what the first one I ever saw was, but it must have been in the 90s. I remember being obsessed with Hercules for one. My interest in their movies has greatly diminished in recent years, which I suppose coincides with getting older without kids. The quality just doesn’t the same to me but that’s a subjective thing of course. You just can’t beat the golden oldies I feel. I always preferred the classic animation style of the likes of Mulan or Pocahontas. Not to mention the music! I feel no shame in admitting that I listen to numerous songs from a range of Disney films to this day. The songs in Mulan, Aladdin, The Lion King and even Frozen to a lesser extent. So it stands to reason that I would a few of my favourites today eh? Let’s get to it!

Please, join me as we delve into the musical minds of the Disney classics!

Pocahontas – Colours of the Wind

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves – Heigh Ho

Aladdin – Friend Like Me

Mulan – I’ll Make A Man Out Of You

Hercules – Zero To Hero

And there we have it! Let’s be real here, it’s almost impossible to pick the absolute best songs from these films. I could have picked so many other ones. The ‘Circle of Life’ anybody? Or ‘Belle’? I hope you enjoy the ones I’ve chosen this week anyways. Why don’t you guys let me know what your favourite Disney movies are? And which songs you love from them? Hey, even let me know if you don’t really like Disney too. That’s just as valid.

Speaking of validation, may I have a tiny sliver? Just on my social media sites I mean. The asylum has a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and yes, even now, a page on Twitter as well. It would mean a great deal to me if you followed or liked me over on those sites as well. There are links provided just there for you. I’m down bad, as the kids say! Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well. Thanks for anything and everything my friends!

Until next week, have a very crazy day inmates!

Good day inmates!

At least it is for all of you. So the gloom has sort of lingered into this week for me I’m afraid my friends. But I’m fairly confident that there’s light beginning to shine through now. I don’t want to go on about it like I did a bit last week, but I thought it was worth acknowledging at least. So, what’s going on in the world right now? There’s that rather awful World Cup over in Qatar I suppose, I’m glad that I don’t really like sports because it doesn’t seem good how that whole event has come about. There does seem to be a significant amount of corruption involved I daresay. Money always seems to take precedence doesn’t it? A sad state of affairs.

You know what isn’t a sad state of affairs? The Harlequins writing music! Oh yes indeed. Did anybody see todays poem clue? It gave me shivers just to post it, to be honest.

I’ll just pull the plaster straight off. Todays musical theme is the ocean. Or water. For those of you who know me a bit better, it may not come as a surprise that I didn’t quite enjoy looking at pictures for todays theme clue. For those are newer to the asylum (Welcome, by the way), I’m maybe just a tiny bit afraid of being in water. I’m fine with baths and showers etc, but I don’t like being in deeper water, especially if it’s going on my face. It’s a tad embarrassing, but there you go. It’s one of the most important substances on Earth. It is life. It is mystery. It is sorrow. It can also be adventure. It is many things to many different people in all manner of worldly cultures. To some people it is a livelihood. To others it is an obstacle to be overcome. But for us today, it’s going to be inspiration for five wonderful musical artists. See? I get to the point eventually.

Please join me as we delve into the musical minds of aquatic artists the world over!

https://peterhollens.com/

Carrie Underwood – Something In The Water
https://www.carrieunderwoodofficial.com/

Boy In Space – Drown
https://boyinspace.com/

Pearl Jam – Oceans

And there we have it! If I didn’t fear the water, I’d envision myself floating on some rubber ring while I listen to these songs. Quite a variety there don’t you think? I hope that you enjoy the choices I’ve included this week and that you check out all of these artists in your own time as well. Consider that homework eh? Haha!

Speaking of homework, I may have double for you. You see, the asylum has a few social media sites that don’t get much love out there. I have a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and amazingly, still a page on Twitter as well. Please consider following and liking me over on those sites as well. Links are included here as ever. Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well. Thanks for everything!

Until next week, have a very crazy day and stay safe out there!

Greetings inmates!

I hope that you are all doing good this week. I’m going to be very upfront with you all today: I’m not all too great right now. This so-called slump has still continued to linger for yet another week and so it’s hard to still regard it as just a low mood, you know? I’ve not really helped myself in some aspects to be fair, so that may be contributing as well. I don’t say any of this for sympathy you understand. I deserve none. It’s just my nature to keep y’all apprised of the goings-on here is all. I’ll be ok, but I daresay you should expect a few more dreary poems in the coming days. Or maybe I just have Seasonal Affective Disorder eh? That would explain a lot, the British weather has indeed continued to decline this week.

So I’ll just get into it this week. Did anybody see todays musical theme clue? It may be quite obvious to be honest, especially after reading that first paragraph. You can probably guess without even seeing the clue honestly.

Todays writing music theme is, to nobody’s shock, the throes of depression. Hardly surprising, as I said! It’s one of those primary Human emotions isn’t it? Happiness isn’t happiness without sorrow. I’ve likely even done a writing music post on sorrow before to be honest, I struggle to recall. You know when you’re feeling sad about something, whether it be a breakup or a falling-out, whether you have suffered a loss or you struggle with your mental health, sometimes it’s needed to just have a good cry. To get it out. That’s what today is about. You need to work through the pain and tears and you stand a good chance of returning to yourself. It’s a slightly masochistic method I suppose but sometimes it is the way. That’s not to say that would work for everyone or every situation, but I can only a speak for myself. I’m going to share some sad songs that I particularly enjoy (if that is the right word) today. So, here goes.

Please join me as we delve into the musical minds of blue artists the world over!

TroyBoi – On My Own

Mob – Night Comes To Save You

VNV Nation – Illusion
https://vnvnation.com/

Avenged Sevenfold – So Far Away
https://avengedsevenfold.com/

The Fray – How to Save a Life
https://thefray.com/

And there we have it! I hesitate to say that I hope you enjoy todays musical choices, but I hope they made you feel something at least. I implore you to check them all out regardless, they do have tracks that aren’t depressing too you know. One last point before we get to my stupid social media spiel: If you’re feeling particularly depressed or down on yourself, please talk to someone close to you. Failing that, perhaps seek professional help. Even if you do use music to fight through it, you shouldn’t be silent if the sadness is causing real problems. There’s enough sorrow in the world as it is.

So, now on to that social media spiel. The asylum has a few social media pages that can be found on my “Contact Me” page, but I’ll include links to my most-used sites here as I do every week. The asylum has a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and I do still have a Twitter account as well. Please think about following and liking me over on those as well as this blog. Also, if you enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well. Thank you my friends!

Until next week, keep your chins up and have a very crazy day inmates!

Hello there inmates!

Oh lawd the blues have come! I may have been wrong last week about feeling blue after the Halloween season was over because it seems to be lingering even now. I’ve not been feeling very enthusiastic about anything recently, with the exception of sleep. It’s really frustrating as I know I’m doing it and how backwards it is. I’m better than this. I’m not exactly sure why I’m lamenting about this publicly but I felt it was worth mentioning to y’all after some more forlorn poems in recent days. It appears the weather has been of the same mind as we’ve been hit with some very significant rains over the last week. We’ve been struggling with some flooding in some areas on the island. The Isle of Wight and its infrastructure never seems to cope well with such things. Alas…

So, on to more positive things eh? Did anybody see the clue for todays writing music theme? I think it may have been a rather difficult one to deduce if you didn’t recognise the individuals in the photo. You see todays musical theme is, in fact, not strictly a theme at all but rather will be focussing once again on a specific artist!

Would you like me to introduce you to them? Todays musical ‘guests’ will be the Tiger Lillies! In my opinion they are a band that defies logical explanation. They are a cult musical trio from the UK who describe themselves as “Brechtian Punk Cabaret” and I think it’s fair to say they are one of the originals in the area; inspiring such acts as the Dresden Dolls. They’re a rather avant-garde group that has a rather unique sound. I picture them as a drunken and downcast mime with an accordion in post-war Berlin. I should mention that the subject matter of many of their songs can be rather offensive and dark, to say the least. They were brought together by the vocalist and accordionist Martyn Jacques. Oh, what can I say about Mr. Jacques? He possibly has one of the most unique vocal styles that I’m personally aware of. It just has to be heard to be believed. So rather than impotently rambling about this singular music artist, perhaps it would be better if I got on with the actual music eh? Let’s get on with it!

Please join me as we delve into the musical minds of the Tiger Lillies!

The Tiger Lillies – Bully Boys

The Tiger Lillies – Thousand Violins

The Tiger Lillies – Jack

The Tiger Lillies – Gin

The Tiger Lillies – Is That All There Is?

And there we have it! What do you think eh? You understand why I said they’re impossible to describe in a succinct manner. I tried to get a good mix of their music as their style and subject matter has shifted numerous times over the years. I do hope that you enjoy this artist as I feel they don’t get the attention that they deserve. I will be including their website link below for all of you to check out as well.

The Tiger Lillies website: https://www.tigerlillies.com/

Speaking of websites, I have some pages on some social media ones as well! The asylum attempts to get some attention on my Facebook page, I also have a page over on Instagram and last but not kind of least a page on Twitter as well! Please think about following and liking me over on those sites as well. It would mean the world to me. Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well. Thank you all for everything!

So, until next week, please have a very crazy day inmates!

Hello there inmates

It’s finally over! The big day has passed! Halloween came and it went. I must admit there’s isn’t another holiday that I’m interested in for the rest of this year now. Yes, that includes Christmas. Don’t @ me, as the kids say! Haha! You can if you want, it’s always lovely to hear from all of you. How was all of your Halloween celebrations anyway? Did you have a spookily fun time? Or was it a tad grave this year? I’d love to hear about it. I’m feeling like I’m in a rather significant slump now unfortunately. I don’t know if it’s the post-party blues or something else but I’d love to be cheered up by your stories.

On a more positive note, you know what day it is? It’s the day for the Harlequins writing music! Did anybody see the clue for our musical theme today? I nearly napped and forgot to post it today so I hope at least someone saw it! It was a lovely picture in my opinion.

Todays musical theme is… *poorly played drumroll* …the future! Oh yes indeed, a bit more of a vague one this week. So do I mean future as in the realms of science fiction or do I mean our personal futures? You know what? Because I’m criminally indecisive, I’ve decided it’s probably going to be a bit of a mix here. I’m more of a fantasy guy myself, but I like quite some science fiction pieces as well. For what it’s worth, my favourite science fiction movies would have to be ‘I,Robot’ and ‘Alien’. However, we’re talking about music today. Artists write about the future in a scientific sense (Robots, space and so on) all of the time, but there is a personal aspect of thinking about ones future too. It’s something we all think about at times. What shall we achieve in our days to come? What will the future hold? Well, for one I can guarantee that the future holds music! So here we go!

Join me as we delve into the musical minds of futuristic artists the world over!

Gunship – Ghost

The 1975 – Give Yourself A Try
https://the1975.com/

Avatar – New Land

And there we have it! As far as themes go, the future is rather hard to quantify unless you’re just going for your sci-fi stuff. Speaking about the future in personal terms is more difficult as the possibilities are literally as plentiful as people in the world. I hope that you enjoy the ones I’ve picked this week and check these artists out as well. I also hope you sort of get what I trying to get at with my ramblings this week.

Speaking of ramblings. would you like to check out my social media ones? You knew this was coming right? It’d be real swell of all of you to consider checking out and following me over on my social media sites as well. Hello there inmates!

Ooooo, I’m loving this season! Its like Halloween before the actual special day! I’m absolutely loving it. It’s put me in the mood of focusing on horror and monsters in my poems. I really hope that y’all enjoy my darker works cause I’m going to be posting them up to the special day! How are we all enjoying the season? It’s definitely feeling like the harvest season isn’t it? I think that other nations consider Halloween a bigger deal than here in the UK. Particularly my friends over in the USA. It’s a big deal with you guys. That’s the impression I get anyways.

Speaking of big deals, did anybody see the clue for todays writing theme? It was less of a clue and more of a general announcement to be honest. How could the writing theme be anything else after all?

The writing musical theme for this week is, of course, Halloween! I think everyone could have predicted that eh? It just had to be the theme for this week. It’s my favourite time of the year and I think it gives me a creative boost to be honest. The time of ghosts and ghoulies. The time of witchcraft and monsters. I don’t even think I need to describe how Halloween inspires music artists. Horror and magic and monsters are always going to be inspirations for artists, whether they be musicians, writers or whatever else. I’m going to share some of the most horrific (in a good way) music artists that I can think of. So let’s see what I can come up with this week eh?

So, join me as we delve into the musical minds of freakish artists the world over!

Anti-Clone – Human

Ghost – Hunter’s Moon

Aviators – Trick Me
https://soundoftheaviators.bandcamp.com/

Rockwell – Somebody’s Watching Me
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockwell_(musician)

Static-X – Cold
https://static-x.org/

And there we have it! I suddenly have the urge to buy a ton of pumpkins right about now. Some pretty spooky song choices there don’t you think? I hope they give y’all the shivers, in a good way of course! I also hope that you enjoy the musical choices for this week. Please check out all of these artists, they all deserve the attention for sure!

Speaking of attention, would you kindly offer me some as well? The social media kind that is! The asylum has a few social media pages. I have a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and a page over on Twitter as well! Please think about following/liking me over on those sites as well as the blog. Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well! Thanks for everything!

Hello there inmates!

Well, here we are again my friends! Another wednesday and another one of my rambling walls of text. How are you all finding the week so far? It’s been a rather steady one here at the asylum. The poem ideas have been coming thick and fast, which I can only attribute to feeling generally more relaxed with the coming of the “Halloween weeks”. I’ve got lots of ideas already settled for next week, where I intend to focus on more of my horror or generally bizarre poems for the run up to the big day. That only seems suitable, no?

Though I’m not really focussing on that until Sunday or perhaps Monday, I chose a musical theme which still very much ties into the season. Did anybody see the clue for the theme earlier today? I felt it was a pretty telling clue. Certainly not one of my vague ones. It was right there on the social media pages. You guys should check those out sometime you know!

So, with October, comes a very “harvest” musical theme. The theme for todays writing music post is: Witches, witchcraft and magic. I know, it’s perfect isn’t it? It’s the season of the witch after all! Those terrific ladies of the dark (and white) arts, with their black cats and broomsticks. Those curious women who still follow the old pagan ways. The shamans, the soothsayers and the warlocks. Sometimes considered evil, sometimes pure good and even occasionally they just wish to be left alone. Understandable really. I’d say they are one of the first figures that can spring into the mind when one thinks of Halloween. That’s not to say they are delegated to being a holiday figure, indeed many follow the sorcerous customs all year round, in countless different forms. It just feels fitting to make a musical dedication to them this week. Let’s see what I can conjure up this week eh?

Please join me as we delve into the musical minds of magical artists the world over!

Rob Zombie – American Witch

Lindsey Stirling – Til The Light Goes Out
https://www.lindseystirling.com/

AC/DC – Witch’s Spell
https://www.acdc.com/

Mercyful Fate – Witches’ Dance
https://mercyfulfatecoven.com/

And there we have it! Can anybody else smell witch-hazel and sage? I like to think I’ve managed to choose a damn good mix this week. Or maybe I’ve had a spell cast on my taste? That would explain a lot. Anyhow, I hope that you all enjoy the choices I’ve presented this week and that you check all of these artists out. They all deserve it!

Speaking of deserving, I don’t deserve it but I’d very humbly like to ask y’all to check out my social media. The asylum has a miniscule presence on a few pages out there. I’ll include links here for your convenience. I have a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and a page over on Twitter as well! Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well! Thanks for everything my friends!

Hello there inmates!

Welcome once again to an edition of the Harlequins writing music with an increasingly unlikely number attached to it! How are we all this week? I hope that y’all are surviving, the world is seeming more and more volatile every week. I had a rather rocky start to the week myself. Sunday evening through to about early afternoon Tuesday, I had a rather uncomfortable stomach bug. Unpleasant as you can imagine, so I don’t think I need to elaborate on how that went. It seems like a few people I know have had similar ailments recently so I had a feeling something was going to happen. Just my luck eh? At least it didn’t last longer though.

On to something that’s less disgusting, how about we discuss todays musical theme clue? Did anybody see it? I’m suspecting some algorithmic shenanigans going on at the moment. At least on Facebook, it seems like my post reach is being throttled to an extent that I’m even unsure if anybody is seeing my posts. It’s almost gotten to a point that makes me wonder why I bother. Haha! With that in mind, It’d be rather forgivable if nobody saw it this week. This isn’t a shout for help by the way, just a dejecting reality I’ve noticed this last week.

Regardless, todays musical theme is… chemicals! Or chemistry, perhaps. They go hand in hand I suppose. This is one of those less overt musical themes I feel. But when you think about it, there have been many songs over the years that toy with the idea of chemicals. There are songs about the toxicity of people or situations. There are (perhaps too many) songs about using illicit chemicals in the recreational arena. There are even songs out there about the chemistry betwixt people, romantically or otherwise. I’d say that many aspects of humanity is all about chemicals really. They’re in practically everything and used for some a myriad of purposes. Coloured liquids and dangerous toxins are vibrant representations for all manner of human realities. A liar with a tongue of cyanide, the beguiling pull between two strangers, even the poisonous booze that we drink to numb the world. I’m sure a smarter person than I could come up with many other examples of chemicals in the inspirational sense, but that’s all I have at time of writing. I think it’s time for some music eh?

Please, join me as we delve into the musical minds of alchemical artists the world over!

Twenty One Pilots – Chlorine

RealestK – Toxic
http://www.instagram.com/iamrealestk/

Finger Eleven – Slow Chemical
http://www.fingereleven.com/

And there we have it! Does this water taste a bit funny to you? I hope that you like the decent (If I do say so myself) variety of music artists this week. I almost went on a rabbit hole of “toxic relationship” songs during the making of this post. I could have easily made a list on just that, but that would ignore all of the other aspects of chemicals eh? Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the choices this week. Be sure to check out the artists, they always appreciate the love I’m sure!

Speaking of love, mind showing your ol’ pal Harley some? I’ve been struggling with the whole social media stuff I must admit. I’d say I’m out of my depth in fact! If anybody reading would like to help me out, please consider following or liking me on my social media sites. I’ll include links here of course. The asylum has a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and a page over on Twitter as well! They’re really cool I swear! Haha! Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well! Thanks for everything!

Until next week, have a very crazy day inmates!

Happy wednesday inmates!

Well, I hope it’s happy anyways! I’m hardly going to greet you with a “Subpar wednesday inmates!” am I? That would completely mental and not in the good way. Uhh… anyways, I hope that you’re all having a great week so far. It’s been something of an up and down one for myself. Though I’m feeling alright in myself again, the bike has up and decided to require some significant garage work. I’ve been having to walk to work which is a pain as I’m rather out of shape these days! It won’t be cheap as always to get it fixed, but I suppose it’s best to get it all done. Safety being important and all that.

You know what else is important? Todays musical theme clue! Not really, but it was worth a try. Did anybody see it today? I’m sure at least one of you did, it was on my usual social media sites. I thought it was a pretty good one today, one I’ve been thinking about for a few weeks now actually.

So todays musical theme is electronic artists! I suppose that’s less of a theme and more of just sharing a specific genre. In a way. You see, electronic is pretty much as broad as saying rock. You could be talking about trance, or drum and bass, or techno or dubstep. That’s just to name a few. Ok, I’ve got a few more. You’ve got hardbass, or industrial, or chillstep or even glitch hop. The scope is more or less infinite really, especially when you take into account musical technology these days. I’ve always been a fan of various genres of the electronic variety, even since my teenage years. It started with the cheesy likes of Eiffel 65 and Vengaboys (perhaps more pop). Then onto my proper teenage years with Gorillaz and The Prodigy. Pendulum, Alan Walker, Kraftwerk and Gary Numan to name some more. It’s only broadened since then. I try all sorts out now and I think it would be rude of me not to share some, don’t you?

So, join me as we delve into the musical minds of electronic artists the world over!

Ladytron – Destroy Everything You Touch
https://www.ladytron.com/

The Prodigy – Invaders Must Die

Tribe Society – Kings
https://www.facebook.com/tribesociety/

Zedd – Stay The Night
https://www.zedd.net/

Katy B – Katy on a Mission
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katy_B

And there we have it! Now, especially after what I said before, it’s impossible to filter electronic music down to just five artists. I tried to get a good mix, but I know for a fact I will want to create another list on this same theme sometime in the future. I really hope that you all enjoy the choices I’ve included this week and as always check the artists out, they all deserve it. The music business is rough, as you can imagine!

Speaking of rough, getting noticed as a mediocre writer is as well! The social media pages are just one way I attempt to get my poetry out into the world. Do you know how you can help? By following or liking me over on the social media sites! The asylum has a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and also an account on Twitter. They are paltry I’ll admit, I’m inexperienced with social media marketing and whatnot you see so do me a solid eh? Haha! Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well! Thank you so much my friends!

Until next week, have a very crazy day inmates!

Hello my fellow inmates!

How are you all finding the week? How is the world treating you? Pretty good I hope! I’ve actually found myself on a bit of a low this week. I’ve been sleeping an inordinate amount really. The bed has been just far too comfortable. I don’t think anything is wrong, it’s just one of those weeks I suppose. I’m sure we all have them. On the plus side, I’ve been pretty happy with my writing. It does kind of seem like less people have been reading them recently, but I’m pleased with my own work. We are our own foulest critics eh?

On to the meat and potatoes of todays post though. The Harlequins writing music! I’ve got five artists today that I’m hoping will blow your socks off. Apologies in advance, I’m sure your feet are perfectly fine. Anyways, did anybody see the clue for todays theme? It was from a movie I really loved when I was a whippersnapper. It was pretty well-known I think too. It’ll seem obvious once I tell you!

Todays musical theme is masks! Or masked bands more specifically! Yep, the movie I mentioned was ‘The Mask’. The one with Jim Carrey. I absolutely loved it! That’s not exactly relevant for todays music though, aside from the masks. It may not surprise you to hear that I like bands that wear masks. The mystique of it all. Artists may wear masks or disguises on stage for a few reasons. Firstly, it may simply be part of their onstage persona, think bands like Ghost or Slipknot. Secondly (and most obviously) it may be simply because they want to hide their personal identities to some extent. This tends to be short-lived, but it’s a valid reason. Thirdly, some bands utilise costumes on stage for particular songs. It may not be the artists fulltime get up, but acts as extra visual context for a particular songs meaning. Think Alice Cooper or even Rammstein.

You can find bands like these in pretty much every genre, though I suppose the stereotype is your typical heavy metal band in “satanic” costumes and the like. All I can say to that is don’t be too sure. I gibber a lot for someone who doesn’t know what he’s talking about don’t I? Right, I think it’s time to drop the mask don’t you? Haha!

Please join me as we delve into the musical minds of masked artists the world over!

Daft Punk – Robot Rock
https://daftpunk.com/

Mushroomhead – Out of My Mind
https://mushroomhead.com/

Ghost – Spillways
https://ghost-official.com/

Orville Peck – Dead of Night
https://www.orvillepeck.com/

Marshmello – Alone
https://www.marshmellomusic.com/

And there we have it! I deliberately avoided including Slipknot as I felt that they would be everyone’s first assumption. Everyone expects them, you know! There’s quite a variety of genres there, don’t you think? You see what I mean now, it’s not ALL death metal! I hope you enjoy the musical choices I’ve made this week. Please check out all of these artists, I would recommend them all!

So, anyways you know what I’m about to say now. You do. Honestly, you do. The social media stuff, remember? The asylum has multiple social media pages on a few sites. I’ll include the links here, but you can also find them all in the ‘Contact Me’ button at the top of the page. The asylum has a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and a page over on Twitter as well. Please consider following/liking me over on those. Also, if you really enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please also consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page as well! Thank you for everything!

Until next week, have a very crazy day inmates!
