Good day inmates!

How are you all on this fine day? I’m doing quite well myself. Been enjoying the warmer weather, though it’s not been overly sunny. It’s that kind of storm-prone heat that we get here every summer. I imagine that’s hardly unique to England, but there you go. I’ve felt my previous weeks worth of poems has been better than my average. I’ve felt more proud than usual, which is always hard to believe. I’ve certainly appreciated the lovely comments this week and again I apologise for sometimes being a bit slow to reply.

So, part 90 of the Harlequins writing music eh? It’s hard to believe we have come this far. You know you guys are welcome to suggest I stop right? Haha! Anybody that read last weeks edition would be unsurprised to hear about todays musical theme. I felt it was suitable to use the same clue again. Do you remember what it was? Well my friends, it was the glorious season of summer! It’s a great time of year to party, it’s a great time of year to make music of a more positive vibe, it’s a great time of year just all around. I can’t just listen to depressing music all year round you know?

So, want to hear five more music choices to represent the sublime summer months? I promise I won’t repeat artists from last week!

So, please join me as we delve into the musical minds of sunny artists the world over!

Reel Big Fish – Sell Out

Rihanna – Don’t Stop The Music

Childish Gambino – Feels Like Summer

Calvin Harris – Summer

Beres Hammond – Feel Good

So there we have it! How was that eh? Some nice both dancey and chilled summer songs for all of you to enjoy. I think I got a greater variety than last week, to be honest. You know I had to include some reggae in there, didn’t you? I hope you check out all of these artists, particularly ones you’re less familiar with. You will not be disappointed!

So, I need to include some social media spiel here now as always. This here asylum has a page over on Facebook, an account on Instagram and an account on Twitter as well. As always, if you enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over on the Ko-Fi page. Thanks for everything!

Until next week, have a very crazy day inmates!
