Hello there inmates!

How are you all? I hope that you’re all doing wonderfully this week. It’s been a very creative and productive week for myself. I’ve been happy with my recent works, which is a nice rarity. Here’s hoping that everyone out there is achieving their own goals, whether it be artistic or otherwise. I’m not sure why I came out with such a heavy-handed outpouring of positivity. Despite my usual dreariness, I do genuinely want the best for others! I’m a sad clown, not a miser!

So, it’s the time of the week for the Harlequins writing music! I’m going to return to my usual five artists picks for this week. Five artists of various musical proclivities. With that said, I was thinking (With some outside influence) I may try and have a theme for my future writing music posts. A theme a week, so to speak. That may mean I repeat some artists I’ve used before, but I think it may be fun! So, starting next week, that’ll be the case. We’ll see how it goes!

So, without further delay, join me as we delve into the musical minds of brilliant artists the world over!

NOFX – Lazy

Mudvayne – Happy?

The Drums – Lets Go Surfing

PYRMDS – Hold On

Yoe Mase – IDC Anymore

And there we have it!

Wasn’t that a grand selection? I hope that you guys take the time to check one or all of these music artists out. I think they deserve the exposure, particularly in the case of the two small electronic artists. It’s a hard market to break into from what I’ve been told in the past. So anyways, as I previously said, from next week I’m going to try and have a theme each week. This will mean I’ll likely have a clue for the theme before the post like I do with my poems. Be sure to check out the social media sites for those, it can be fun!

So, I best include my social media spiel eh? The asylum has a page over on Facebook. I also have an Instagram page and an account on Twitter as well. Also, if you enjoy what I do here at the asylum, please consider supporting me over at the Ko-fi page! Cheers!

Until next week, have a very crazy day inmates!
